Acupuncture has helped me immensely. After trying conventional treatment and medication I turned to acupuncture. Heavenly Herbs and Acupuncture in Paradise has been my treatment of choice for the past few years. The pain in my low back and hip are so much better now.
I highly recommend acupuncture.

Dear Sheryl,
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for all you’ve done for us and our daughter over the past years. We’ve challenged you with a wide variety of issues and you’ve always come through for each of us. Not only the acupuncture, but your special tinctures, herbal remedies and enlightened advice have been not only helpful but invaluable to all of us. We couldn’t have asked for more – you are a true “healer” in every sense of that word. Thanks again and we’ll be seeing you again soon.
We wish you years of sunshine with a few clouds and beautiful tree for shade and protection. YOU are indeed a very special lady.
Hugs,
Sallie and Gary Nuber
Sheryl’s acupuncture helped me to relax and release in many ways. The knee pain took about 2-3 sessions, plus homeopathy and nutritional changes supported the healing. Before and after dental surgery, her acupuncture helped me to balance what was needed and heal well. The informative resources have been self-supporting! Her expertise is in herbs and acupuncture! The office setting has a healing comforting ambiance for sure. Thank you Sheryl,
P.L.

This natural, analgesic, anti-inflammatory homeopathic remedy can help ease most musculoskeletal pain due to trauma/injury (including surgery). This includes most arthritis pain and nerve pain such as sciatica and neuropathy (also includes nervines – herbs to calm nerves). Although I have many strong Chinese herbal formulas for pain in my clinic, I often initially recommend this product since it very often (I estimate 90% effectiveness) gives immediate relief with regular use. I have seen this ‘cure’ severe cholicky gallbladder pain, ulcerative colitis pain, etc.
This product comes in a topical creme (with no odor – no menthol or camphor), or internal use drops. (alcohol-based) or tabs (sublingual).
It is a very safe replacement for over-the-counter NSAIDS (non-steriodal anti-inflammatories, such as ibuprofen, tylenol, naproxen, etc.) and can even replace presription pain medications such as Vicodin, Norco) without the side effects plus it actually helps heal tissues whereas NSAIDS do not!

Herbs “more helpful” than drugs for period pain
Note that most of these herbs are in a traditional Chinese herbal formula for PMS symptoms, including dysmenorrhea (painful periods), called Xiao Yao Wan (available at any acupuncturist’s office).
This is an article about the safety of Chinese herbs and the misinformation that the medical profession continues to tell patients why not to use an herbal medicine that has a safety record far surpassing pharmaceutical drugs!
‘Concerning “Chinese Herbal Nephropathy”
“This is one of the fastest pain attenuators in existence — the pain can be gone in five minutes,” said Col. Richard Niemtzow, a physician, acupuncturist and senior adviser to the Air Force surgeon general. See article at Air Force to Use ‘Battlefield Acupuncture’ for Pain Relief
Acupuncture Reduces Side Effects from Tamoxifen, Arimidex
Finally research shows that acupuncture will treat menopausal symptoms of hot flashes and night sweats, and in this case, specifically the side effects of Breast Cancer drugs!

I participated in Acupuncture Awareness Day at the state Capitol in Sacramento on April 23, 2009. We gave people acupuncture out on the lawn area surrounding the Capitol building – it was a great event to have legislators and their staff experience the benefits of acupuncture first-hand! There have been at least two previous Acupuncture Awareness Days at the Capitol that I recall. This year’s was in conjunction with the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) 2009 Conference in Sacramento. An article, “Expo 2009 – Solidarity in Sacramento for the Good of the Medicine”can be found on page 32 of the Spring 2009 edition of the American Acupuncturist, the AAAOM journal.
